We are pleased to announce the receipt of our fifth SBIC license from the Small Business Administration ("SBA"). Capitala has enjoyed its 22-year relationship with the SBA as a member of its SBIC program and we are excited to continue to invest and support small businesses located throughout the United States.
Capitala remains committed to serving the needs of small businesses. To date, we have invested over $2.2 billion into more than 170 portfolio companies. Moreover, Capitala has committed over $1.0 billion to social impact companies including minority / women / veteran owned or controlled companies and businesses located in low to moderate income communities.
